Marketing AI software features that matter and how to judge them

Buying marketing AI software is harder than it looks, because almost every product claims to write, schedule and analyze. This page lays out the features SuperMarketer includes in plain terms and gives you a checklist you can use on any vendor, including us.

Every demo looks the same

Most marketing AI products show the same moment: a prompt goes in and a neat paragraph comes out. What a demo rarely shows is month three, when someone has to decide what to write, keep the voice consistent, publish across channels and prove that any of it produced leads. Buyers end up paying for a fast text generator and still doing the marketing themselves.

The questions worth asking are about planning, control, publishing, measurement and cost predictability, not about how pretty the first draft looks.

Feature overview of SuperMarketer

Brand understanding

Reads your website and asks six questions on ideal customer, goals, competitors, offers to push, words to avoid and approval rules. The result is a living brand brief you can edit, and Enterprise can lock brand vocabulary so approved terms are always used.

Planning

A 30-day marketing plan with goals, channels, weekly themes and a calendar with dates. Starter refreshes the plan once a month with a weekly update, other plans refresh it weekly. The marketing plan generator page shows how the plan is built.

Content production

Blog articles with SEO brief, outline, draft up to 2,000 words and internal links. Social posts for LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram with image suggestions. Email campaigns and newsletters. Ad copy variants for Google, Meta and LinkedIn. AI images for posts and articles.

Control

One approval queue where every item is a card with Approve, Edit, Reject and Regenerate, plus an autonomy dial per channel with three modes: Review everything, Auto-publish after 24 h and Full autopilot.

Publishing and data

Connections to WordPress, Webflow, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Google Ads and Meta Ads, with Google Search Console and GA4 read only.

Reporting

Results by traffic, clicks, opens and leads where connected, what worked, what will change and next-step proposals you accept with one click.

Administration

Seats from 1 to 50, SSO through SAML, Google or Microsoft, roles Owner, Approver, Editor and Viewer, approval chains, audit log, 99.9 percent uptime SLA and a data processing agreement on Enterprise.

Evaluation checklist for marketing AI software

Use these questions in any trial or vendor comparison.

  • Does it decide what to publish, or only write what you ask for
  • Does it keep one brand brief across every channel
  • Can it publish directly to your CMS, social accounts and email service
  • Can you set how much it does alone, channel by channel
  • Does every item pass through a visible approval step
  • Does it read your real results and change the plan because of them
  • Are monthly limits clear, and are they counted per period
  • Is the price a flat subscription without credits or top-ups
  • Does it offer SSO, roles and an audit log if your company needs them

Steps for a fair trial

  • Run the one-time homepage demo on your own website
  • Compare week 1 of the plan with what your team would have chosen
  • Connect one low-risk channel on Review everything
  • Read the first weekly report before widening the autonomy dial

Buyer questions

Is pricing per seat or per output?

Each plan has a flat monthly or yearly price that includes a set number of seats and monthly output limits. There are no credits or top-ups. If you need more, you move to a larger plan.

Can I pay by invoice?

Invoice billing is part of Enterprise on annual plans. Other plans pay by card, monthly or yearly.

Does the software need a long setup project?

No. You enter your website, answer six questions and connect the channels you want. The first plan and drafts appear right away.

How is our data handled?

Analytics connections are read only, Enterprise includes a data processing agreement, and the security page explains access, roles and audit logging.

What happens if we cancel?

The subscription stops renewing and access continues until the end of the paid period. Content already published stays in your own channels.

Judge it on your own website

The quickest evaluation is a real one. Run the demo, compare the plan with your own, and decide with facts. You can also review the AI marketing platform view for team setups.

Full limits and billing options are on the pricing page.
