Best AI marketing tools for small B2B teams compared by the job they do

The best AI marketing tools are not one list, because they do different jobs. Some write when you ask, some schedule what you already wrote, some live inside a large CRM suite, and a newer group plans and does the work for you. This guide sorts the well-known options by the job they do, gives the approximate public price of each, and shows where each one fits for a small B2B team.

How we judged each AI marketing tool

We looked at every tool through the eyes of a small company with no full marketing department: a founder, a solo marketing lead or an owner who has a few hours a week for marketing. For that buyer, the important questions are practical.

  • Who decides what to publish and when, you or the tool.
  • Which channels it covers: blog, social, email, ads, SEO.
  • How much setup it needs before the first useful output.
  • Whether it publishes or only drafts.
  • Whether it reports results and suggests what to change.
  • What it costs per month at a realistic size for one brand.

Prices below are approximate public list prices in USD at the time of writing. Vendors change plans often, so check their pricing pages before you buy.

Jasper for brand voice writing

Jasper is one of the best known AI writing platforms for marketing teams. Its strength is writing in a consistent brand voice: you load style guides, product facts and examples of past copy, and Jasper uses them across blog drafts, landing page copy, emails and ads. It offers templates for common marketing jobs, a document editor for longer pieces and agent features for specific tasks.

The Pro plan is about $69 per seat per month, and the Business tier is priced on request. Jasper suits a team that already has a marketer who decides the plan and wants faster, more consistent writing. If nobody owns the calendar, you still need to decide every topic, paste the results into each channel and track what worked.

HubSpot Breeze agents inside Marketing Hub

HubSpot has added AI across its platform under the Breeze name. Breeze agents can help draft content, social posts and prospecting messages, and they work with the contacts, deals and email tools already inside HubSpot. For a company that runs its whole funnel in HubSpot, this is a strong option because the AI sees your CRM data and works in the same place your team does.

The catch for a small team is the suite itself. Most useful AI features sit inside paid Marketing Hub tiers, and Professional costs about $800 per month before extra seats and contacts. You also need someone to set up properties, lists and workflows. If you already pay for HubSpot, use it. If you do not, it is a large step for a team that mainly wants steady content and email.

Copy.ai for go-to-market workflows

Copy.ai started as a copywriting tool and now focuses on go-to-market workflows. You build or pick a workflow, for example researching a list of accounts or turning a webinar into posts, and it runs the steps for you. It leans toward sales and revenue operations as much as marketing.

The Chat plan is about $29 per month, and the workflow and agent plans cost more. Copy.ai fits a team that likes building its own processes and has a clear idea of the steps it wants automated. It gives you building blocks rather than a marketing plan, so the strategy and the calendar remain your job.

Blaze for content creation and a calendar

Blaze is aimed at small businesses and solo marketers. It learns a brand kit, generates posts, short blog pieces and emails, and lays them out on a content calendar that can publish to social channels. For an owner who wants something simpler than an enterprise suite, it is easy to start.

Plans start from about $26 per month. Blaze is lighter on the strategy layer and on results reporting than on content creation, so it works best when you already know your goal and mainly want help filling the calendar.

Hootsuite with OwlyWriter and Buffer for social scheduling

Hootsuite and Buffer are social media schedulers first. You connect your profiles, write or upload posts, place them on a calendar and see engagement in one dashboard. Both now include AI writing help: OwlyWriter in Hootsuite drafts captions and repurposes content, and Buffer has an AI assistant that rewrites and expands post ideas.

Hootsuite starts from about $99 per month, and Buffer starts at about $6 per channel per month. Buffer is the low-cost choice for a small company that only needs reliable scheduling. Hootsuite adds more analytics, inbox and team features. Neither one plans your month or writes your blog, emails and ads, so the calendar is still yours to fill.

Canva, Surfer and Semrush as specialist helpers

These three are not full marketing tools, but many small teams use them alongside one.

  • Canva covers design. Its AI features generate images, resize designs for each channel and turn text into slides or social graphics. Canva Pro is about $15 per month for one person.
  • Surfer focuses on SEO content. It scores a draft against the pages that already rank for a topic and suggests terms, headings and length. Plans start from about $99 per month.
  • Semrush is an SEO and competitive research suite: keyword data, site audits, backlink research and competitor tracking, plus AI writing add-ons. The Pro plan is about $140 per month.

Each one is excellent at its single job. Together with a writing tool and a scheduler, they make a capable stack, but someone still has to connect the pieces and decide what to do each week.

How to choose your stack

Start from the job that nobody on your team owns today. If you have a marketer who plans and only needs faster writing, a writing tool like Jasper is enough. If social posting is the only gap, Buffer or Hootsuite covers it at a low cost. If your company already lives in HubSpot, turn on Breeze before buying anything else. If nobody owns marketing at all, the planning, the writing, the publishing and the weekly review are all gaps at once, and that is the case an AI marketer is built for.

  • Count the hours someone spends between tools each week, not only the subscription prices.
  • Try each candidate on your own website and your real offer, never only on a generic prompt.
  • Check what goes live without your approval and whether you can change that per channel.

How SuperMarketer covers the whole job

SuperMarketer is an AI marketer rather than a single-purpose tool. It reads your website, asks six questions about your ideal customer, goals, competitors, offers to push, words to avoid and approval rules, and keeps a living brand brief. From that it builds a 30-day marketing plan with weekly themes and dated items, then drafts the blog articles, social posts for LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram, email campaigns, ad copy variants and on-page SEO fixes.

Every item lands in one approval queue as a card with Approve, Edit, Reject and Regenerate. An autonomy dial per channel lets you choose Review everything, Auto-publish after 24 h or Full autopilot. Connections to WordPress, Webflow, the social networks, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot and the ad platforms publish what you approve, and a results report tells you what worked and what changes next. See the full list on integrations.

  • Starter, $49 per month or $24 per month billed yearly: 1 brand, 40 social posts, 4 blog articles, 2 email campaigns, 20 ad copy variants and 3 connected channels each month.
  • Growth, $149 per month or $74 per month billed yearly: 150 social posts, 12 articles, 8 email campaigns, 100 ad variants, 8 channels, 3 seats and weekly reports.
  • Scale, $499 per month or $249 per month billed yearly, and Enterprise, $1,490 per month or $745 per month billed yearly, for several brands, larger teams, SSO and approval roles.
